Do you want to do something for your community? Do you want to help grow your library? Don’t have a lot of time? Join the YLA! The YLA is a citizens’ organization and anyone can join. The cost to be a member of the YLA is $15.00 per year for an individual membership and $20.00 per year for a family membership.
While it is not necessary to join the YLA to use our library, keep in mind that membership fees support the Ricks Memorial Library by helping pay for items such as new computers, software, books and reading programs. Your YLA membership is tax deductible.
We value our YLA members, as The B. S. Ricks Memorial Library could not survive without these donations.
Benefits include: Extended borrowing privileges (10 books, 10 audiobooks, 5 movies), extended loan period for books (21 days instead of 14), waiver of the $2.00 fee to replace lost library cards and voting privileges at the Yazoo Library Association Annual Meeting.
Membership forms are available at the front desk of the library or you may download a form by clicking here.
